gallery.jessyin.world is a personal art browsing project that displays works from the MoMA open collection. It is not a commercial product and does not sell or monetize any data.
Very little. Here is the full picture:
Chat and presence. When you visit the gallery, you are assigned a random anonymous name (e.g. "Curious Parrot"). Your name, which artwork you are viewing, and any chat messages you send are shared with other visitors in real time. This data is held only in memory and is deleted when you leave or when the server restarts. Nothing is stored permanently.
Rate limiting. Your IP address is used temporarily to prevent abuse of the AI description feature. IP-based counters expire after 60 seconds and are not logged or stored beyond that.
AI descriptions. When you view an artwork, a short AI-generated description may be created using the artwork metadata (title, artist, date, medium). No personal information is sent to the AI. Generated descriptions are cached by artwork ID for up to 30 days to avoid regeneration.
No accounts. No cookies. No analytics or tracking scripts. No advertising. No fingerprinting. No data is sold or shared with third parties.
The site uses Google Fonts and Fontshare for typography, which may log standard web request data per their own policies. Real-time features run on PartyKit. AI descriptions are generated via the Anthropic API.
When you create a postcard, the image is generated in your browser. The To, From, and Message fields you enter are not sent to any server. The postcard image is shared directly from your device.
